Scandal, by Jean Paul Gaultier, is a feminine fragrance from the Chypre Floral olfactory family, created to emphasize a contrast between sweet and woody notes.
The composition is structured in three distinct accords:
- Top: blood orange and tangerine.
- Heart: honey, gardenia, orange blossom, jasmine and peach.
- Base: beeswax, caramel, patchouli and licorice.
The result is a composition with a citrus opening, a floral and gourmand heart, and an enveloping, slightly woody base that gives the fragrance personality.
