The Klipsch RP-500SA surround speakers deliver an immersive sound experience with support for Dolby Atmos. They can switch between height (elevation) mode, rear surround, or immersive speaker depending on your room configuration.
The tweeter's vented enclosure reduces standing waves that generate unwanted harmonics, improving clarity and detail in the high frequencies. The package includes a 5.25" Cerametallic woofer and a 1" titanium tweeter for full-frequency coverage in a 2-way system.
The RP-500SA features a selectable crossover that switches between Dolby Atmos and Dolby Surround modes to optimize performance in different installations. The lock-style mounting system allows use as a wall-mounted elevation speaker or as a surround speaker, adjusting the angle for enhanced sound effects. The removable grille is acoustically transparent and protects the components.
Technical and practical use: nominal impedance of 8 ohms, supports up to 300 W peak power (75 W continuous) and convenient placement for positioning atop front or rear floor speakers, providing a higher soundstage and aerial effects.
