The ultra wide lens for HERO13 Black expands the field of view up to 177%, delivering images 36% wider and 48% taller — ideal for vertical captures without rotating the camera or readjusting the mount.
HERO13 Black automatically recognizes the lens when attached, switching to ultra wide mode and returning to the default setting when removed. The module enhances HyperSmooth performance, providing excellent video stabilization even up to 4K60, and enables Horizon Lock with all digital lenses.
The 1:1 aspect ratio allows flexible crops to 16:9 or 9:16 in post without quality loss. Made from durable materials, the lens is scratch-resistant, waterproof, and features a hydrophobic coating for greater clarity in adverse conditions.
